Below are just some of the blogging and content creating tools that make this job so much easier! Sharing these so you too can learn what tools are out there to decide what works best for you and your business!
I switched over to self-hosting on SiteGround within the first few weeks of my blogging journey. At the time, so many fellow bloggers recommended SiteGround and I couldn’t be more grateful because my experience with them has been nothing but awesome.
SiteGround is super easy to use, very secure and they have excellent customer service. They offer a variety of high-quality services and walk you through every step of the way. I was a total newbie and was able to do things with building my blog that I never thought possible.
If you would like to give SiteGround a try, I highly recommend it. You can use my referral link and let me know how much you love it because I know you will!
Canva is my go-to for all the photos (with the exception of a few event photos I’ve taken) here. Canva makes it so easy to search for stock images on any topic as well as to create text, quotes, Pinterest pins, and pretty much anything you need! I currently have a Canva pro account and for $12.99 a month, I get all I described above and more for use both here and on my Instagram.
Planoly is one of my favorite new(ish) to me apps. I absolutely love using it to help plan out my content for Instagram and it has completely increased my efficiency. For $8.99 a month, I can schedule out all types of content for future publishing. Currently, I don’t use the auto-publish feature but I do schedule all my content and get reminders to quickly publish it. With a few clicks, my image(s), captions and hashtags are all ready to go and easily published to my account. Planoly has a lot of additional features making it a fabulous tool for content creators!
If you want to give Planoly a try, use my referral link and let me know what you think!
Additionally, I recently wrote up a post about the how and why of my use of Planoly which will give you even more insight about its features!
Tailwind is my jam for utilizing Pinterest to promote my blog posts! A strong Pinterest strategy utilizing Tailwind has the potential to really help you grow your reach and blog views! Initially, I joined Tailwind with a free account but the perks of upgrading to the Plus plan were plentiful and I can now share up to 400 pins monthly for only $15! Not only can you schedule pins to post while you are working, asleep, eating, and doing anything else, you can also add content to tribes that potentially gets it in front of thousands. Tailwind is my recommendation if you want to step up your Pinterest game. I have included my referral link and highly encourage you to give it a try!
Another tool I used and am still referring to was created by a fellow blogger boss girl, Ell, called Pinterest with Ell. She put together a fantastic course outlining her successful Pinterest strategy which she continually updates as the algorithm changes! Y’all, this course helped me so much and I highly recommend it!
Grammarly is the tool that completely has my back when I am putting together my blog posts. And not only does it help with blog posts, it can be utilized for your writing of almost any kind! The long and short of it is, Grammarly checks your writing for general errors as well as clarity. It also determines your tone and offers additional suggestions on how you can improve your writing. Grammarly offers a free version and that even has an easy to use Chrome extension with it. They also offer paid plans for those wanting to really step up their writing game! If you are currently writing blog posts, emails, content, or anything without Grammarly, you are missing out my friend!
